The Ibrahim Governance index released yesterday showed smaller countries in Africa fared better than the larger economic powerhouses. Ghana for instance retained its 7th position in the 2015 Mo – Ibrahim index having recorded a decline in three of four indicators over the last 10 years. Ivory Coast, Togo, Zimbabwe, Liberia and Rwanda are among 37 African countries that have improved in governance since 2006.
